Follow Them on Reddit

You can also follow a Redditor if you’re trying to friend them on Reddit. Here is how to follow anyone on Reddit.

Via Reddit app:

1. Open your app.
2. Search for their username on the search bar.
3. Click their username among the results to go to their profiles.
4. Click the “Follow” button underneath their avatar.

Alternatively, you can locate them via the comments sections.

1. Launch your browser and navigate to your Reddit account.
2. Hit the search icon on your homepage and search for their username.
3. Select and click their username among the results to navigate to their profile.
4. Tap the “Follow” button.

Invite Them To Your Subreddit 

Create your subreddit, make it private, and invite them to the subreddit.

Using the app:

1. Open the app.
2. Tap the Menu (three horizontal bars on your left).
3. Select the “+ Create a Community” option.
4. Choose a name.
5. Select Private under the Community type header.
6. If you intend to post any NSFW content, turn on the “18+ Community” button.
7. Click Create community.

Using browser:

1. Access your account via browser.
2. Tap the down arrow underneath your profile icon.
3. Select the “Create a Community” option on the drop-down Menu.
4. Select the name.
5. Pick Private under the Community type tab.
6. Mark the “18+ year old community” box if you plan to post adult content.
7. Tap Create Community.
